When I decided to put my home up for sale this June, I did not know where to go to find a realtor, or what my home was worth. I luckily ran across Rachel Jones with Skyline Properties while going to an open house in my developement, in which she was the listing agent. Rachel went out of her way to come to my home that same day, and gave me an estimate and comps on what my home was worth. Rachel went above and beyond expectations during my home sale process. She was there for me the whole way, answering questions, making helpful suggestions and giving me guidance. She wouldn't let me give up, even under the most stressful times. Rachel both listed our home and helped us buy our new one. In listing our home Rachel was very thorough in her search for comparables to make sure we had a price that was both satisfying to us and realistic. Our home was in Moses Lake with a slower market than what the Seattle area is currently seeing, but still her marketing and outreach to local realtors allowed us to have multiple showings a week and we were able to get a full price offer. With that offer I knew once again Rachel's analysis of our market was spot on. When negotiating our new home Rachel was able to get us the price we wanted and after inspection all the "fixes" we had asked for. If she wasn't available to take a call, I always had a response soon there after. Rachel's professionalism and honesty hold her apart in this business. A good real estate agent knows when to be prompt, patient, pushy, dilligent, and understanding... All at the right time, and possess all of the qualities mentioned above. Rachel Jones is one of those agents. I have never had Rachel represent me, but before I had decided she met me on my terms, at my house, and spent 2 hours with me going over things that I may need to address before listing so that we could ensure that we would recieve the highest offer on our home. Rachel put herself in our shoes many times through the process. Realtors have lives too, but even when I needed something last minute or on the run, Rachel is up to date with all the latest forms of communication that help. Referring to digital signings, faxes, scans, emails and text messages. Some agents would rather you contact them mon-fri 9-5. Rachel just got it done. Plain and simple. When financing started to become stale on my transation, Rachel professionally and dilligently requested updates, and made SURE we were going to close on time to save her seller money. These are the skills and extra 10% you wont find in other agents looking for a quick buck. Last and not least... Rachel is willing to pay out of her own pocket for professional photos of her listings. "Photos are worth a thousand words!" If I make $10,000 dollars more on my house, and it cost $150, wouldn't want an agent who put in that extra $150 dollars and 3 hours in process, to make you 5% or more profit on your sale? There are many agents in South King County/Pierce County, but I would highly recommend Rachel to my family members for her services because she does not cut corners, such as comments above.

Rachel did a great job and helped me find the home of my dreams in a town that I'm in love with. She was very professional and always there to answer any questions I had along the way. When things got bumpy with the listing agent, she was my knight in shining armor, working tirelessly to get things done for me on the purchase. It took longer to close than I would have liked but at no fault of Rachel! She helped push escrow along during the process, getting me to close as quickly as they could. After closing, when I ran into an ENORMOUS water lien left from the previous owners, Rachel was all over it, taking care of things quickly for me so I would still have running water! Rachel was extremely helpful in helping me buy a home in the Kent, WA area.
I came into the market with a general idea for what I wanted in a home, and she helped to pave the path forward by asking some leading questions to help narrow down the search paramaters, thus turning up results that I may not have otherwise found, and pruning out homes that I may not want to bother with at all.
She was willing to take liberties with criteria that I did not have a preference and return that to me in the search results, based on a general understanding of what I was looking for, and explain what "assumptions" were made, and what that could possibly mean for me.
She respected the price range she was given and did not return any results to me that did not meet the search criteria. She was not forceful or misleading in any of the information she gave me and I did not feel any obligation to compromise on anything I asked to see in a home in order to "get a good deal" or because the "market was hot."
She was very accommodating and responsive to setting up viewing appointments, establishing the necessary documentation for submitting an offer, and very prompt in returning to me any information in the initial offer process.
Once the offer was submitted, she recommended me a very reputable and thorough home inspector, and assisted me through the whole process.
I received regular communication via phone/email throughout the process of coordinating with the selling agent, she uses electronic signature verification for all documents (so there's no waiting for faxes or coordinating a face-to-face), and she was very willing to meet anywhere convenient for me when we did have to exchange physical documents.
She did very well to keep me out of details that did not concern me, and worked very closely behind the scenes with my mortgage broker to make sure they had all the documents they needed.
She made the buying process something very special to me and stayed on top of her game every step of the way.
